Blogger Spotlights | From Hats To Heels

 Hi sweeties! Let me introduce you to the beautiful Larissa Bruin from the blog 'From Hats To Heels'. Doesn't she have a beautiful hairdo?  I'm jealous of her gorgeous curls! And again a beauty, but all the blogger girls I know are beautiful, so this is not a surprise either :). I followed Larissa for a long time now, because I loved her style. She always has a surprise twist in the outfits. Of course I met Larissa at a fashion event. Funny and a great girl! Always fun when I see her. So I'm glad we are friends now <3

1. Can you tell us a little about Yourself?

I am Larissa Bruin, a psychologist turned stylist. Through styling I found my war to blogging, which has grown from a hobby to a habit and from a habit to a job. Besides fashion I love to travel and wish to legally call myself a globetrotter one day. 

  

2. What was the reason why you started your blog? 

I've always loved fashion and it's almost like I've been collecting clothes since my 10th. I've always had a lot of clothes and since I loved writing; why not combine the two? I could never have imagined it to be so much fun. 

3. How would you describe your clothing style. 

My style is a mixture of feminine chique and edgy rebellious. i love to mix that up to an outfit that is sassy, sexy and fun in the most chique way. 

4. How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts. 

I mostly write about my own outfits. it's sometimes hard to create the look I am going for, but I've learnt that when I don't know what to wear in the first place, the most creative solutions come to the table. For this to happen, I let myself be inspired by everything around me streetwear, other bloggers, tumblr, but also things that have nothing to do with fashion, like politics, food, interiors and what not. 

5. What are you favorite brands and shops? 

I love Asos.com, River island and Chicwish. besides that, I love to go vintage shopping anywhere. 

6. What's now on your wish list?

The Chanel Jumbo is on my wish list since forever. other items I crave this summer: Cgunky heeled boots, maxi cardigans, platform slip ons. . 

7. If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest? 
Only blog about what you love, cause blogging is a tough job and to keep doing it, you want it to be fun. Don't give up & dare to be out there!
